When I was just 8 years old, curiosity sparked my very first invention. One afternoon, I dismantled the tiny motor from a toy car, connected it to two batteries, and fastened everything together with some tape. To complete my creation, I attached two cotton swabs, imagining they could sweep the floor like little brooms.
Excited, I showed my homemade “sweeping robot” to my mom. She smiled, took a few photos, and kept them as a memory of that playful moment. At the time, I truly believed that as long as the motor kept turning and the swabs kept sweeping, all the dust would gather neatly into one place.
Looking back now, that simple idea marked the beginning of my journey into creativity and invention—a small step that reflected how imagination can turn even the simplest materials into something meaningful.
